An Ozonizer is a unit which produces ozone, the purest form of oxygen, by the process of ozonolysis; in other words, the production of ozone will react and destroy the algae, toxins and waste problems in your tank and prevent them from occurring, it also helps in raising pH, dissolved oxygen and Redox, and most importantly, boosting the efficiency of your protein skimmer. It has an antiseptic effect which significantly reduces bacteria counts and minimizes the risk of ill health among your animals.  For optimal results, the ozone should be applied through your skimmer, with a release of water into the sump or filter, mixed and processed into your system.
