Shipping Rates:

Shipping rates below will apply to the United States (48 Contiguous States) and rates are broken down by your order total. Majority of our orders are shipped UPS Ground, occasionally we will use USPS and FedEx. Refused or undeliverable orders are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% plus return shipping charges.

Free Shipping Promotional Offer:

We are currently offering a free shipping promotion on most orders over $165 shipped via Ground.

Terms & Conditions of Free Shipping Promotional Offer:

  • This promotional offer is valid on orders only in the 48 contiguous states (zones two though eight on UPS shipping charts).
  • This promotional offer does not apply on heavy items, such as salt, sand, chillers, substrate, certain water pumps, metal halide ballasts, etc. as well as oversized boxes.
  • Refused or undeliverable orders are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% plus return shipping charges.

Additional Shipping Heavy / Oversized item Charges:

Heavy items, such as salt, sand, chillers, substrate, certain water pumps, metal halide ballasts, etc. as well as oversized boxes will have an additional charge on shipping, per item. These additional charges are in addition to the prices listed above. Even though there are additional shipping charges, we are offering them you an economical rate.

International Orders:

We do ship International; however the Free Shipping Promotional Offer does not apply. Please view the International Shipping Calculator to estimate the total cost of shipping you will be charged. Any additional charges, if any, which are charged from the carrier after item has shipped, we reserve the right to charge the credit card which we have on file. We are not responsible for duties, import taxes, or any other fees imposed by the carrier or customs. All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service and will arrive to you in about 5-10 business days from the date which your order was shipped from our warehouse.
For both our and your security, we require that all international customers supply us with a fax copy (718-206-2044) of your photo identification with the same address of the credit card to complete the order. If the proper steps are not taken as listed above we cannot continue processing your order. Refused or undeliverable orders are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% plus return shipping charges.

Tracking Numbers:

Your tracking number(s) will be sent to you via email.

Backordered Items:

Backordered items are not common but do happen from time to time when an item is out of stock. We will notify you regarding your backordered item. Backordered items and shipping charges will be charged at the time of initial order and shipped out as soon as the item becomes available at no additional charge. If you choose to cancel this item please email us at customercare@reefwarehouse.com or call us at 718-206-2005 and we will credit you for this item with no fee.

Incomplete Orders:

Please check your packing slip to make sure the missing item is not backordered or was not shipped in a separate box. Verify your tracking number(s) to make sure you have received all your boxes and have checked the packing material thoroughly. In the event in which this happens please contact us within 24 hours within receipt of package at 718-206-2005 and we will evaluate the situation and fulfill your order accordingly.

Damaged Items:

In the event your item(s) have arrived damaged, please contact us at 718-206-2005 as soon as possible. All damage claims must be filed with the shipping carrier. Reef Warehouse will contact the appropriate shipping carrier to file a claim, if your package was sent with USPS; the customer must file the claim with the carrier at your local post office. All carriers other that USPS will pick up the item, packing material and box for inspection. Please hold on to the item, box and packing material until the item is picked up by the carrier. Once the damage claim has been filed we will do everything we can to get a new replacement item out to you as soon as possible.

Defective Items:

In the event your item(s) is defective, most manufacturers require you to ship the item directly to them, if this is the case we will provide you with all the manufactures information so you can proceed with the return of your defective item. Please contact us for details in the event this occurs.

Cancellation & Changes:

Orders cannot be changed, cancelled or refused after the order has been processed. Orders cannot be cancelled or refused due to delay in order processing or shipping the order. Refused orders are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping charge.

Reef Warehouse Return Policy:

Please email us at customercare@reefwarehouse.com or call us at 718-206-2005 with any questions about items before placing an order, this will help us both to avoid returns. When you receive your order please do not break the packing seal and open the item packaging unless you inspect your items for accuracy and double check everything you ordered is listed on your packing slip and matches what has been sent to you. In the event the wrong item has been shipped to you we will schedule a pick-up with a carrier and ship you the correct item immediately.

For closed packages: In ordered to receive a refund subject to a 10% restocking fee, items must be...

  • Unopened.
  • Sealed with original packing seal.
  • In its new original manufacturers packaging and resalable.
  • Be sent back to us at your expense with a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) no later than 30 days from the date of receipt. RMA numbers expire 20 days from the date issued and cannot be reissued or extended. A valid RMA number must be written clearly on the outside of the box. Incomplete or unauthorized returns will be refused. No credits will be issued unless returned merchandise is accompanied with a RMA number.

NOTE:

  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • A store credit or refund will only be given after we have received the item(s) with RMA number, have been inspected by us, met our return standards and are in original, unopened packaging with seal intact. It will take 2-3 business days after we receive the returned item to issue a refund or credit minus the restocking fee and all shipping fees.
  • If these conditions are not met, a 15% restocking fee or more may apply.
